The inspirational true story of Burmese leader Aung San Suu Kyi is told in this compelling solo performance about the life of the only Nobel Peace Prize winner who is also a political prisoner. Despite being head of the democratically-elected political party, Burma' s military junta have kept Suu Kyi under house arrest for over a decade.
This powerful performance has already been made sell-out appearances at the Edinburgh festival and the Old Vic in London.
Extraordinary... unforgettable. Gould's performance is one of quiet intensity. A compelling tribute to all those engaged in Burma's continuing struggle for liberty, and to a truly inspiring human being.
The Times,
